It features 4 change-over contacts (4PDT, Form-C) and meets standards such as IEC 61000, IEC 60255, IEC 60947, and ANSI C37.90, making it suitable for both AC/DC control and protection circuits in high/medium-voltage installations.

The relay is engineered for rapid response — pick-up times for RF-4R are typically under 8 ms, which is crucial when it's used in circuit-breaker tripping or protective-relay interfacing
