It is a 16‑channel sinking (DC) discrete input module, used to interface field devices (switches, sensors, pushbuttons, etc.) to a PLC.

Accepts 10–32 V DC input (nominal 24 V DC) signals, with each input drawing about 4–7.4 mA depending on voltage.

Provides fast response — typical “off‑to‑on” input delay ~ 50 µs + filter time — suitable for real‑time automation and control tasks.

Compact, DIN‑rail mountable design (dimensions ~ 138 × 22 × 105 mm) and uses a removable terminal block for field wiring (e.g. 5069‑RTB18 series).
