The R485B‑1000 is a solid‑state “Protectorelay” safety/flame‑sensing relay intended for burner and combustion‑system protection, using compatible flame detectors to monitor flame presence.

It operates on 120 V AC at 50/60 Hz, providing detection and safety shut‑off if flame is lost — designed to respond within about 3 seconds.

The relay outputs a switched signal when flame is detected, enabling connection to combustion control valves or safety interlocks.

Commonly used in industrial or commercial burner systems (oil/gas burners, furnaces, heaters) where reliable flame supervision and safety cut‑off are mandatory.
